Tolerations Steal Productivity
A few years ago, I hired a personal coach. She taught me a wonderful concept that I have used to this day.
A toleration is something that drains our time and energy. It may be as small as a missing button or pile of paperwork that hasn't been sorted. It may be something larger like a vehicle that doesn't run or finishing a renovation project.
The problem is that we all tend to tolerate the things that drain our time, energy and patience. We put up with a messy garage and the fact that we cannot find the screwdriver that we need. We dig through closets looking for an outfit and then realize that it is wrinkled, and we can't wear it without investing more time and effort.
If you want to gain back time and feel more in control, consider how you can eliminate the things that you are tolerating.
Begin by making a list of as many tolerations that you can think of even If you don't see a solution for dealing with them at first. Keep adding to the list until you have at least one hundred things that you are tolerating. I think you will be surprised about how many things are "bugging". Up until you now you have just ignored them and tried to work around them.
Once you have the list you will also likely be surprised by how many things are not only stealing your energy but also being neglected.
Next, go through the list and choose one thing that you can fix that will resolve several other things automatically. For example, if you clean the garage will it allow you to find tools more easily? Will you be able to park your car inside rather than having to park outside?
Success breeds success and in a short period of time you will be proud of your accomplishments and ready for more. There is great satisfaction in crossing things off the list. But remember, this is not a static project.
It is a process and you will need to keep adding things to the list.
Finally, develop a plan so that you won't have recurrence of the same things over and over again. I remember my Home Ec teacher in high school saying over and over again "Have a place for everything and keep everything in its place"
If you don't have a place for everything, perhaps you have too many things and need to downsize. Or maybe you need an organizer to help you with the initial plan.
If you have a place for everything and you don't keep it in its place, perhaps you need to have a talk with yourself and develop some self-discipline.
So, let's begin. Take a blank sheet of paper and draw a line vertically down the middle. Label each column - one will be "Personal" and the other "Work". Then start writing down at least one hundred things that you have been tolerating. You have just taken the first step towards success!

Systems Make Everything Easier
Recently I wasn't feeling well. My head hurt. I was dizzy and the bathroom was barely close enough. My system was a mess!
Our bodies have several different systems. One is for digestion. Another involves lymph nodes. We have a system for blood circulation as well as several others.
It is not just the body that has systems. For example, there are transit systems, accounting systems, justice and security systems. At a personal level, we can all benefit from having systems both at home and in the workplace.
Here are some of the unique things to consider about systems:
- They consist of several parts or steps.
- It usually takes thought and planning to create a good system.
- There are many resources available that provide ideas to help you.
- Systems will usually save time and energy.
- When one-part malfunctions, the whole system is negatively affected.
- Maintenance and upgrades may be required to ensure efficiency.
- People have different opinions about which systems are working well for them and which aren't so it is important to consider feedback from those who will be affected.
- Tried and true systems last over time.
Do you find that you are spending a lot of money because you never have a menu plan or grocery list? Are you finding it difficult to clean because your appliances aren't working properly?
Perhaps you are feeling unwell because you haven't had nutritious meals or enough rest.
A system can be as easy as implementing things that you already have in your life. It involves setting up a process to get things done easily. For example, when you have taken out the meat for supper in advance, you don't have to come up with a plan at the last minute. Treating your washing machine, dryer and dishwasher as unpaid help allow you to feel control. Just load them up and push the buttons so they can work for you.
This week invest time in planning ways that you can develop or improve systems in your life. You will feel more in control and will notice that your productivity increases.

A Healthier Life SYSTEM
Have you ever felt, frustrated, by the continuous cycle, of feeling healthy, followed by poorer health, then taking medications, feeling like you are simply, covering - up, the symptoms, rather than addressing the cause? Unlike many other nations, we, in the United States, proceed, with an, allopathy - first, and/ or, allopathy - oriented, process/ set of priorities, rather than emphasizing addressing the causes (instead of the symptoms)! While, medications are, certainly, needed, to address certain ailments, diseases, etc, there are many times, another focus, might be a healthier, longer - term, one. This wellness SYSTEM must include a willingness to take a look, at the bigger - picture, and address, both, ailments/ diseases, as well as a way - of - life, which might produce healthier, happier, individuals. With that in mind, this article will attempt to, briefly, consider, examine, review, and discuss, using the mnemonic approach, what this means, and why, it makes sense, to consider, and better understand.
1. Stronger: If we followed, an overall process, which emphasized, making us, truly stronger, and more effective, instead of, waiting until, something, ails - us, we would enhance our possibilities, of living, a healthier, and, thus, happier life. This means considering, supplementing, conventional medicine, with alternative approaches, in a well - considered manner!
2. You; yes: No one can address your personal issues, so, the responsibility, is, up, to you! Say, yes, to the possibilities, but do so, after consultation, and discussion, with your respected, trusted, well - informed, health professional!
3. Solutions: Part of this process, is to consider, your perceptions, and whether, you are ready, willing, and able, to focus on viable solutions, instead of doing nothing, either because of fear/ discomfort, or lack of willingness/ readiness, to, think - outside - the - box!
4. Trends: While there are numerous, time - tested, quality solutions and approaches, health treatments are constantly evolving, and, thus, it is a wise approach, to consider, recognize, and use, all appropriate trends, and possibilities. Always do so, however, carefully, in a well - considered manner, and carefully!
5. Enjoyment; excellence; emphasis: Wouldn't your life be more enjoyable, if/ when, you might be more ready, and willing, to focus on quality and excellence, and place your emphasis, in an enlightened way?
6. Motivation/ motivates: Take the time, to consider, your personal motivations, when it comes to your health, and well - being! Are you ready, and willing, to, open - your - mind, to the possibilities, and how, combining conventional, with alternative treatments, might be, beneficial to you, and your overall health?
Do you have a personal SYSTEM, to help you, try to be, as healthy, as possible? Using a proactive approach, and expanding the limits of your personal, comfort zone, may be, in your best interests!

1. Have an It-Is-Possible Belief
There is a great connection between what you believe and the result
you get from your efforts. The best way to start creating a winning
mindset is to have a positive belief and be addicted to that thought.
By having an 'it-is-possible' mindset, you are setting your mind above
all limitations and obstacles on the path to achieving your goals.
When this thought gets into your subconscious mind, it will become
effortless to see possibility in having things go your way.

your failure and plug every necessary hole and take advantage of the
factors that can drive your goals to success. Be meticulous in planning.

4. Declare Your Anticipated Result to Yourself
There is a strong force behind positive confession. Make a declaration
(speak out) of the result you are expecting to yourself every time.
Let this positive thought fill your head then get into your heart; let
it take over your mind and finally get into your subconscious mind.
Doing this will embolden you with positive energies and a winning
mindset that will push you beyond your limit to achieve your dream or
set goals.
