Achieve More in Your Business Using the Power of a Mastermind Group

I have interviewed over 1100 entrepreneurs and business owners on the secrets of their success and one of the things that I find many of them do is find support from being a member of a business mastermind. The mastermind concept was first talked about by Napoleon Hill in the 1930s when he described it as 'the coordination of knowledge and effort of two or more people, who work toward a definite purpose, in the spirit of harmony.'
Owning a business comes with a heavy burden of responsibility. Every day you are faced with making decisions and often the choices made may be nothing better than a guess based on gut instinct. As well as this you have to figure out how to organise your time to be most effective. While you may have created a business for independence and lack of accountability to other people ultimately, we all become accountable in business to our family, our employees and other people who support us in our business. There is an immense psychological weight that comes with owning your own business. Often business owners have no one to turn to for support, advice or opinion and feel alone on their journey. With all of this weight on their shoulders, they somehow have to make the right decisions with a constant awareness of the consequences of bad decisions. However, there is another way by using the power of a business mastermind.
A mastermind is a group of 5 to 9 people who share a common objective, for example growing their business, who meet on a regular basis to help and support one another. Each member of the group should contribute their wisdom equally to the group and offer mastermind members access to their personal network and resources. When the group meets, they will focus on a commonly agreed topic and all members get to benefit from the conversations that take place.
A business mastermind group is a safe place where the like-minded members share intimate business secrets with the community and get the benefit of the wisdom, thoughts, knowledge and support of the group. Being a member of a mastermind group also creates a sense of connectivity with other similar people who 'get it', there is a sense of camaraderie and shared understanding. It is an incredibly powerful way of networking and forming strong friendship bonds with other like-minded entrepreneurs in a trusted circle of colleagues.
Joining a business mastermind requires a moment of honesty and the part of the entrepreneur because you have to be willing to share what does and doesn't work within your business and you also have to be willing to take advice from other peers in the group. Furthermore, you must also be willing to be held accountable for any commitments that you make to the group. Without this level of openness, authenticity and willingness to grow and learn neither the group nor you will benefit from your involvement in the group. When you join a mastermind, it is also important to have goals of what you intend to achieve during your time in the mastermind and then use the power of the mastermind to help you achieve them.
Being a member of the right mastermind group, you become incredibly focused on your goals and objectives and you are much more likely to achieve them faster than you would otherwise do and therefore your business will move forward at a faster pace. When you have ideas or challenges you can use the power of the group to brainstorm them and get feedback, insight, ideas, suggested resources, different perspectives, solutions, new possibilities, questions, help and at the same time you learn from the other members. You also benefit from being potentially introduced to people in other mastermind member's networks who can provide the right advice quickly. You get multiple perspectives on what it is want to solve and you also get real clarity on how you can achieve it - you take a lot of the guessing out of making decisions.
Within a business mastermind group, there is a shared sense of we are in this together and everybody is rooting for your success. Because you make commitments to the group and the group wants you to succeed this creates incredibly powerful accountability with a 'push' and 'pull' effect on you ensuring that you do what you say you are going to do to make a successful outcome more likely.

We All Love To Win, If You Do Not Like To Work Toward It, You Do Not Really Want It

We all want an "easier way to win" than we see the path of, so to speak. We all have complaints about how hard our road is, and some even claim they have it too easy and complain in the opposite direction of the people who complain how hard their road is. Either way, a complaint is a complaint, and all satisfaction is genuinely up to you and your mind as it is up to my mind and my personal reality. Also, either way, wanting something is more exciting than having it most of the time. It sounds a little stupid, indeed, though that reality of life is a human truth. Everyone wants an easier way to get what they want and want something better than they have usually.
Recently, I faced a few small crisis points that told me in so many ways about the realities about life I have just mentioned culminating with my Mother telling me that it could be worse, and I should be grateful that it is not worse.
Listen, we all prefer better, and we all prefer to consistently and always win, but, without the bad, we definitely cannot have the good. I realize that. Indeed, what I also realize is that without losers, you cannot have winners. I know that is a reality that sounds horribly dualistic, but without up, you cannot have down and the other directions, and political correctness about it will save nobody. The only way out is through with objective correctness or realistic correctness.
Recently, I watched a Dr. Matt James video on you tube about cause and effect and realized the full basis of this article that you can only make a better effect by working fully on the cause in reality. It cannot work any other way or for all down time, there is always up time. For every flower blooming there are weeds dying somewhere.
Like anyone, I would love to circumvent the "bad medicine" and the "even worse" cure that comes from the "bad medicine". Reality is bitter work and sweet reward, almost always. It could work in other ways as genuinely anything is rationally possible such as bitter rewards and sweet work, or the process being better than the end. Again, the reward and win is in the eye and mind of the beholder, so is the genuine loss.
There are certain solutions that have a "did the chicken or the egg come first?" type thing going on, and I just mentioned one of those realities. It is up to you.
My name is Joshua Clayton, I am a freelance writer based in Inglewood, California. I also write under a few pen-names and aliases, but Joshua Clayton is my real name, and I write by that for the most part now. I am a philosophical writer and objective thinker and honest action taker. I also work at a senior center in Gardena, California as my day job, among other things, but primarily I am a writer.

Celebrating Life Every Day

Did you know that May 17th is Norwegian Independence Day?
That country's Constitution was signed in 1814 and the citizens continue to celebrate every year with bands, flag waving, traditional dress as well as parades. The Norwegians really celebrate!
England also has been celebrating this month, first with a new royal baby and also with the birthday of Queen Victoria on May long weekend. Because we call it the Queen's birthday, people often get confused about the fact that Queen Elizabeth was born in April and the May 24 celebration is actually honouring the birth of her grandmother Queen Victoria who was born in 1819.
There are so many statutory holidays at both the federal and provincial level that we observe in Canada on a regular basis - Thanksgiving, Canada Day, Christmas and Easter to name a few.
But, in addition, there are also personal events that need to be celebrated. This year my granddaughter graduated with a degree in engineering from the University of Saskatchewan. Two grandchildren had birthdays in May. We just had a Mother's Day BBQ and in June, I will join fellow students for our 50th high school reunion in our hometown in Saskatchewan.
Unfortunately, people tend not to marry or have funerals, and this robs family members from being able to get together. The prevalence of extended business hours injects a "busyness" into our lifestyles that can block attendance at planned activities that might otherwise attract all family members.
Somehow, we have been lulled into the idea that social media makes up for being physically involved. But a fourteen-character text message or uploaded photo will never take the place of a warm hug and face-to-face conversation.
It is time to re-evaluate the ways that we interact with others and consider how we do or do not participate in celebration activities.
Being involved requires planning and commitment.
Perhaps it would be a good start to just begin celebrating today. Give thanks for what you do have and the ways in which you have been blessed. Then start thinking about the things that you want to celebrate in the future and who you will ask to join you.
And now I would like to invite you to claim your Free Instant Access to a complimentary list of 10 Steps to Making Your Life an Adventure when you visit http://lindahancock.com

How to Realize Positive Change in Your Life

Our personal beliefs form the internal and external context of our lives. Beliefs are perhaps the most powerful force in the world. On a global scale, belief systems cause cultures to draw boundaries, ideologies to clash, and wars to be fought. On a personal level, what we believe to be true about ourselves and the world around us appears in our lives as our lives. To realize a change in our lives we must first change our beliefs, which is possible when we change the point of origination where the power of our beliefs manifests into our life, i.e. at the subconscious.
In my book, The Hidden Truth, I provided compelling evidence that nothing exists outside of a universal consciousness. This universal consciousness has an equivalence with light and energy, and we showed mathematically how everything in existence, both seen (i.e. mass) and unseen, is nothing but some form of that energy; a connected, flowing, unending, indestructible energy. Because the universal consciousness is also the universal energy and you are part of that consciousness, you can thus also tap into and use that universal energy as needed in your life. In fact, this happens whether you realize it or not because your subconscious is your connection to the universal consciousness and ensures you remain within a functioning representation of physical reality and thus remain focused on that physical reality as it unfolds into the life experiences you perceive everyday.
On a day-to-day basis, most Westerners don't think of or commune with our subconscious. However, when we realize the power that our subconscious has over the life that we live, we have no excuse for being dissatisfied with our life if we do not engage with the one means we have at our disposal to make a change in our lives for the better.
Think of the subconscious in very simplistic terms as a computer program. The subconscious runs routines in the background to create a life experience that meets the expectations of our beliefs. Thus, if you live your life with a closed mind and are not willing to examine or change your own beliefs, then you are stuck in the life you've got; like it or not.
The prototypical example is the comparison between an optimist and a pessimist. An optimist believes where there's a will there's a way, and with sufficient effort and persistence any challenge can be overcome. To a pessimist, nothing good comes from the world so why try. These are self-fulfilling prophesies because every life has challenges, thus proving the point of the pessimist, and every challenge will be overcome unto the point of our death, thus proving the point of the optimist. However, the strength of the underlying beliefs influences the frequency of perceived challenges and successes. Of further import however, the positive beliefs of an optimist provide an underlying strength for the optimist to seek improvement and solutions in his/her life, thus providing the optimist an edge on life.
Now, this was the simplest example of manifestation but does not explain how to implement change so you can benefit from the exercise of modified beliefs. There are three simple means everyone can utilize to take charge of the beliefs that rule their life and then change those beliefs to realize an improvement.
The first is through positive assertions. These can be statements, verbal or nonverbal (such as visualization boards or written assertions), that assert something will occur in your life. Persistence and belief is the key, followed by actions whenever possible to bring the assertion into your life. To help solidify the manifestation, whenever possible one should act as if the assertion has already been received and give thanks to God/Universal Consciousness for hearing and fulfilling your request. I and many others have written on this topic, so please refer to my many other articles in this blog for a more in-depth discussion on this point.
The second is through meditation. By meditating and silencing your conscious mind's incessant chatter inside your head, you allow your subconscious to come forward and instill inspiration - and even other-worldly experiences of communing with the Oneness - such that you realize how to overcome any life challenges that you may be facing. I wrote on this topic at length in my blog article, 'Receiving the Gift of Inspiration at Will.'
The subconscious can only bridge the brain-mind gap and commune with your conscious mind when your brain waves have been slowed (i.e. quieted) so that the frequencies of both match, and your brain thus becomes a working receiver, much like tuning a radio. When your conscious mind is active, talking and thinking, its frequencies are not compatible for communion with the subconscious. This doesn't mean the subconscious is inactive. No; your subconscious is constantly working in the background to keep your conscious mind firmly locked in and focused on physical reality. But if your intention is to commune with and influence how your subconscious works to create the experiences you will perceive in physical reality, then you have to modify your conscious mind's wavelengths to match the subconscious so they can share information across the brain-mind gap.
If meditation is too much trouble to accomplish the frequency match, the third means to commune with the subconscious is via therapeutic hypnosis. Hypnosis is not magic and indeed you don't even need another person to put yourself into a hypnotic state. Hypnosis is simply directed concentration coupled with deep relaxation and is a natural state of mind that everyone experiences a few times a day, such as when transitioning to and from sleep or even when daydreaming. The benefit of using a trained hypno-therapist to realize a specific goal is the therapist can help you accomplish the feat of entering the hypnotic state-of-mind more efficiently, and then lead the conversation with your subconscious for which your conscious mind intended. Amazing feats have been achieved through guided hypnotherapy to affect change in one's life using no other power than the power that the subconscious taps into to create the reality in which we live. Examples include loss of weight, the power to quit smoking, developing self confidence, and amazing health benefits such as overcoming chronic pain and even inexplicable cures from some of life's most devastating diseases like cancer.
Hypnotherapy is not a cure-all for life's ailments because some problems are intentional additions by our Over-Soul to introduce challenges into our life that we must face for some life purpose. Further, a single hypnotherapy session may not be enough to realize a permanent change in one's life because, again, you will manifest the life experiences that you believe you deserve. If you don't believe in the power of hypnotherapy then any temporary improvement from the session that is followed by a relapse will simply become another self-fulfilling prophesy. However, this doesn't mean that you can't change your beliefs and realize lasting improvements with multiple hypnotherapy sessions, but there must be an intention and real desire to change - through whichever means you use to effect change in your beliefs and subconscious - if lasting changes are ever to be realized in your life.

This Is How Successful People Manage Their Time

Being Successful In Life Today With A Millionaire's Mindset Means Reprogramming The Subconscious

Are you on the right track to achieve success? Stop for a while, take a look at the map, see the directions, consult somebody or look for assistance.
After that start your journey towards the ways to be successful with full self-confidence.
I mean do so without the tiniest doubt of being derailed.
Their tracks are entirely different from each other leading to various destinations; the location of success and the location of failure.
Either one can learn the best ways to be successful or take an incorrect track doom and gloom, but the best secret to achieve success is to keep oneself on the ideal path.
A very sharp, clear and bright picture of where you are heading is great motivation for an enthusiastic individual to remain vigilant and keep himself focused on the right path versus all odds and obstacles.
It's true that absolutely nothing can be achieved without effort, however, effort alone can not guarantee you to achieve success.
The world is full of poorly paid unskilled workers who are working hard, but not getting enough benefit.
Striving without planning is similar to taking an elevator from the middle of a multi-story structure without knowing which floor you really need to get off at.
It can take you to the leading floor or ground you in the basement.
The majority of people are not able to set goals and objectives simply due to the fact that they have no future vision, no huge dreams and no specific success strategies.
These poor, miserable people have no choice, but to follow the crowd aimlessly.
The unfortunate part of the story is that the crowd is growing larger day-by-hopeless-day without having anyone to lead them to the ideal path to achieve success.
Enjoying the Success Process
Previously I discussed how many were having fun, for example, trading penny stocks and that as a hobby were finding success.
When we can put some enjoyment into what we're chasing after being successful seems to be a result.
Due to the fact that many can not commit themselves fully to the job they are appointed to, these directionless people are lost and don't know for sure what they want.
No surprise, these people are frequently fired by their companies, remain mostly unemployed, survive on social welfare and other public assistance and charities, broke in the end and ultimately buried under heavy debt.
One must distinguish between right-minded and wrong-minded; either achieve success or settle for failure.
The Course in Miracles states, "You are the mirror of truth, in which God Himself shines in perfect light. To the ego's dark glass you say but need, 'I will not look there because I know these images are not true'."
Bringing Passion and Purpose to the Scene
Because we are not allowing the light of our passion and purpose to be in charge, far too often we as humans are filled with uncertainty of the dark.
You just need to keep inspired and keep on moving to the destination you set for yourself when you are on the path of certainty.
The desperate and dark travels through life many take are entirely different from each other leading to different destinations; to achieve success or the destination of mediocrity.
Either one can be on the ideal track to achieve success, or on the path where wealth creation is never accepted into the mind.
The millionaire secrets will help to keep you OFF the wrong-minded track, where you can never find ways to be successful in life, no matter how much effort one puts in.
Effort needs to be invested in keeping yourself inspired and continually reprogramming the subconscious when you are on the right-minded track with a millionaire mindset.

How To Stop Negativity And Start Thinking Creatively

One of the things that can get in the way of creativity is the practice of negative thinking. Some people just naturally tend to think more negatively than others. It doesn't matter, though; you can turn off your negative inclinations and learn to be more positive.
Negative Thinking Is Limiting
Right now, think of some negative things for about 30 seconds. Now you're likely finding it hard to even read this because you're thinking about how the dishes aren't put away, or you don't have enough to pay that medical bill, and other things about your daily life. Plus, now that you're thinking negatively, you're likely not looking for solutions because eventually, the negativity turns into giving up.
Acknowledge Your Negative Thinking
The first thing to do is realize and accept that almost everyone thinks negatively sometimes. It's okay to have a bad day. But it's not okay to let any negative thing that happens to you inform your entire life.
Combat Negativity with Facts
When a negative thought comes to your mind, combat it with facts. There is always someone who has it worse so if you can cite those facts convincingly to yourself, you're going to feel better - at least for yourself.
Keep a Gratitude Journal
Before you go to bed each night, write down at least three things in your life that you are grateful for today. If you're not sure what to be grateful for today, be more general such as, "I'm glad that today I managed to get through the day without going to jail."
Surround Yourself with Positive People
The more people you can find that are generally positive and don't focus on the negative, the more positive you'll become. First, you'll feel silly always trying to be negative to positive people who will point out the positives to you because that's how they think. Secondly, their positivity rubs off onto you.
Smile More
This might seem like a condescending thing to say but the truth is that when we smile with our mouths, eyes and face, it releases endorphins that make us feel better. Anytime you feel negative, think of something that makes you smile.
Take Care of Your Health
It's hard to be positive if you're not healthy. Even if you have health issues, taking the best care of yourself can make you feel better inside and out. Eat right, exercise, take your vitamins, and drink plenty of water and you're going to have the energy to be more positive. This is going to almost automatically make you more creative.
A 'Success Mindset' means that when you have challenges, you'll be able to work through them with confidence and clarity. It means that when you are presented with an opportunity you'll be able to set fears aside and take advantage of the opportunity. To help you embrace a success mindset to improve your business, and your life, download my free checklist, Cultivating a Success Mindset, at https://jonallo.com/mindset

6 Tips For Staying Motivated When You Just Don't Feel Like It

If your "get up and go" has got up and gone, here are a few suggestions to get your mojo back.
1. Stop Procrastinating
Chances are you might not be in the mood when you start, but you will gradually relax into a groove and get on with your to-do list. No matter how badly the work comes out, such as a new blog post, you have something you can edit and improve. Procrastinating will not gain you anything.
2. Don't Try to Be "Perfect"
Many business owners overwhelm themselves by thinking everything they do has to be perfect. It doesn't. It just has to get done. Do your best, of course, spellcheck your work and make sure you have said what you really mean and will not offend anyone before you hit the Send button. But otherwise, doing your best is better than doing nothing at all.
3. Avoid Overwhelm
A lot of people struggle to get their workday started because they are so overwhelmed that they literally have no idea where to start - and so they don't do anything. If this is the case, it's time for an honest assessment of what you are spending your time on each day. Consider outsourcing some of these jobs to affordable freelancers. But until you find the right helper/s, just pick anything from your to-do list and just do it.
4. Outsource Tasks That Drag You Down
There are always going to be tasks you love doing and look forward to each day. Chances are you are good at them, they are interesting, and you are proud of your work. Then there are the tasks that are dull, boring and you hate them. There are millions of freelancers online who can take these tasks off your plate so you can happily spend your time doing the things you love.
5. Manage Your Time Better
One reason you might feel unmotivated is that you're spending so many hours on your business, but don't seem to be getting the results you were hoping for. There might be a couple of reasons for this. One is that your hours are really not as productive as you think they are. Create a spreadsheet to track typical work days. Every 15 minutes, write down what you have accomplished. Then see how much of your work sessions can be spent on things that really grow your business.
6. Reward Yourself
Give yourself a little treat at the end of each task you complete. It could be a break, a nice hot cup of coffee, or five minutes of watching funny videos online - just don't get carried away.
Being a business owner can be overwhelming and exhausting. So how do some people seem to thrive and achieve their goals and dreams while others struggle? The answer is mindset. To start taking steps today to embrace a success mindset download my free checklist, Cultivating A Business Mindset at https://jonallo.com/mindset

Secrets to A Winning Mindset

To succeed in life requires a lot of courage because there is almost
nothing in this world that is 100% risk-free. Winning or losing comes
from the mind that is why a winning mindset is crucial to achieving
set goals irrespective of the difficulties or challenges encountered.
No matter how small your goals are or how lofty your dreams may be,
you cannot achieve much without a winning mindset, which is the force
that generates the power and enthusiasm that drives you.
When you see successful people, they not only have a winning attitude
but also possess the winning mindset. Giving up is not among the
traits of winners and following through to the end is never the habit
of losers. To get to the pinnacle of success, you must have a winning
mindset that results from positive thinking and perspective to issues.
Tips to Having a Winning Mindset
Do you see successful people and wish to follow in their footsteps?
Are you searching for ways to develop a positive mindset? Do you want
to nurture your mind with the winning attitude? Here are the tips to
help you have a winning mindset.
1. Have an It-Is-Possible Belief
There is a great connection between what you believe and the result
you get from your efforts. The best way to start creating a winning
mindset is to have a positive belief and be addicted to that thought.
By having an 'it-is-possible' mindset, you are setting your mind above
all limitations and obstacles on the path to achieving your goals.
When this thought gets into your subconscious mind, it will become
effortless to see possibility in having things go your way.
2. Set Goals and Have a Detailed Plan
Remember that every success has an equal chance of failure. As a
result, do not attempt anything without setting a goal and creating a
detailed plan to achieve your goal. Identify factors that could cause
your failure and plug every necessary hole and take advantage of the
factors that can drive your goals to success. Be meticulous in planning.
3. Spare No Efforts / Never Think About Quitting
To have a winning mindset, be ready to go all out and leave no stone
unturned. Do not spare any efforts and you must be prepared to see
your goals achieved regardless of how long you need to labor or how
much pain you must endure. You must not think of quitting - it is the
habit of losers.
4. Declare Your Anticipated Result to Yourself
There is a strong force behind positive confession. Make a declaration
(speak out) of the result you are expecting to yourself every time.
Let this positive thought fill your head then get into your heart; let
it take over your mind and finally get into your subconscious mind.
Doing this will embolden you with positive energies and a winning
mindset that will push you beyond your limit to achieve your dream or
set goals.
